I can’t swear this story is true but it could be.
I stopped by my hairdressers to get my monthly hair cut. The Lady in the next chair was telling her hairdresser she knows a women whose brother’s sister works for a book publisher. She says the Clintons are financing the new book about John Kerry “Unfit to Command” from the sale of their two books. She says Hillary Clinton is getting even for being passed over as key-knot speaker at the DNC love fest. She says no way will Hillary let Kerry become President. She said some things about Teresa I can’t repeat.
I ask her if she had any more information? She snapped that I shouldn’t be listening to others people’s conversations. I said I was sorry. She said if I promised I wouldn’t breath a word to anyone she would give me the whole inside scoop. I promise, I promise. Now you people have to promise me you won’t say anything to any one. This is after all highly classified political information.
This story isn’t true I just made it up to illustrate a point. This is how much of what is being said about President Bush got started. Someone made up a story; it got repeated until it became truth to a lot of people. The question is how much of the book Unfit to Command is fabricated, as Kerry would lead us to believe? It’s fairly easy to get a band of brothers of ten to lie for you if you pay them enough. Getting over one hundred former Navy Men to lie is a little more difficult. I go with the Book not Kerry. You decide.
John Kerry made up a story about being in Cambodia Christmas eve 1968 and being shot at by South Viet Nam Soldiers. “It will forever be burned in my memory” so says Kerry. It’s a story he has repeated for 36 years. Now Kerry’s backs off the story. The long and the short of it is it’s a lie that has become truth. How many more stories of Kerry’s heroism will turn out to be lies?
The Kerry campaign is in a rage over the book Unfit to Command. Where was the rage when Michael Moore came out with Fahrenheit 9 / 11? Shouldn’t one lie be as unwarranted and questionable as another? Where is the media when there’s a story?
I believe Hillary was so ticked off by Kerry’s Marauders when she wasn’t selected to be the Key-Knot speaker at the DNC love fest she’s out for blood. Only two people can sink Kerry run for the Presidency, Kerry and Hillary. It’s only a matter of who gets there first. My money’s on Hillary.
The late great Will Rogers said, “ I don’t belong to any organized political party, I’m a Democrat”. For those who don’t know who Will Rogers was. He was an Oklahoma Cowboy back in the 1930’s who turned standup comedian before there were standup comedians. His political humor is worth a Google search.

In this day and time of his, hers, and theirs, this may be a more accurate way to describe the relationship.
Er--judging by the rest of Uncle Ken's humour, aid would say that falls under the heading of "tongue in cheek."
There is a big difference between Unfit for Command and Fahrenheit 911. Unfit was written by those who were there-it's firsthand knowledge. Secondly, John Edwards told us that those who served with Kerry knew him best. Didn't he? Thirdly, Kerry told us he saw war atrocities committed and did so himself. Again, who better to tell the tale than those who were there? Kerry wants to hide his voting record in the Senate by raving about his war record. The public is entitled to the truth. There is not a court of law in the world which would rule this eye witness testimony as irrelevant.

That wouldn't surprise me one bit. I expect the Clinton's to sabotage Kerry's run so Hillary will be able to run in 2008.

Or... depending on the writer's sex... "my brother's sister" could be myself!
