I know nothing about photography, but after reading your post, I'm wondering if there is an explanation for the different shadows cast by Kerry's head (far to his right) and the head of the guy in the middle (directly below his chin.) The two men look oriented exactly the same to me, so shouldn't the shadows be oriented the same?
I'm also curious about the long shadow on Kerry's right arm from his shirt sleeve wrinkle, also cast far to his right. At this point, nothing would surprise me.
Not to mention that either the black guy or the white dude on his left is missing an arm.....
And why does said shirtless white dude's head cast a symmetrical shadow -- to the front as if backlit -- while Kerry and another guy have shadows that trail off to the right of each man's head??
Would camera flash account for those shadows?
