Oh, that's great news. Then I'm sure we'll all get to see who signed his Purple Heart paperwork. But wait a minute. That hasn't been released. Ever. So I guess you're wrong.

The first Purple Heart was signed for by an officer in Saigon three months after the CO of his unit refused to give it to him. The officer has since died, so exactly why he did this will remain a mystery - particularly since at that moment, Kerry would already have been on his way back to the States after having gotten kicked out of his unit for overall weirdness.

Kerry won't release any records on the other two.
