Transcript of my appearance on Hannity & Colmes this week
Ramblings' Journal ^ | 7.2.04 | Michael King

Posted on 07/02/2004 7:25:36 AM PDT by mhking

Fox News Channel released the transcript of my appearance Tuesday night on Hannity & Colmes. No pictures though...

KING: The Democratic Party is not doing that, Alan. The Democratic Party is basically taking the black vote for granted. They're sitting back and saying, "Look, blacks hate George Bush, and they hate him so much that they'll vote for anybody, even the local dog catcher." And John Kerry is the dogcatcher at the moment.
Now if I could get a video copy of the appearance (the picture of me here is from my April appearance on H&C), I'd be happy. I couldn't see a thing from the studio where I was!

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Ugh. I thought I could help you out on the video, but the recording was nuked. Actually everything was after the replayer froze and had to be unplugged to reset. It's never done that before. Go figure. I hate computers.

Thanks for the heads-up on the transcript.

BTW, re: your last comment to me on the toys in the VCR: I was tempted to ask if you'd stolen my children (you could use two extra boys, right? slightly used, generally in good working condition). Just as I was about to thank you and offer my condolences, I was hit upside the head with an F-14 that my 4yo insisted he hadn't thrown -- I have no idea how someone snuck a steam catapult into my house without me noticing.

DANIELS: That's the three C's. That's the three C's -- disease, I called it -- Condoleezza, Clarence and Colin. And it's not really about color; it's about ideology.

Ahh so ideology is the problem ? well wasnt it hillery that just said were going to take from you your tax cuts so get ready for it " FOR THE COMMON GOOD" tThat type of common good is Communism .....Condoleezza, Clarence and Colin .....these are some of the best people in government in my time sharp ,intuitive, bright and very strong gutsy and they are viewed as copouts uncle toms its ridiculous ......And yet people like Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton keep the masses of peoples seperated with constant hate speach i just hope

And so we want to talk about 50 percent unemployment in New York of black men. That just happens to be the case here. And we're talking about the question that we have more black men in Prison now than in colleges and universities.

So these men in prison were forced to sell drugs steal kill and lie because they couldnt find a job or couldnt stay in school ?

What kind of policies are going to be...

KING: What happened to personal responsibility in that equation?

Exactly

DANIELS: Well, I'm for personal responsibility. I think you won't find any African-American leader who's not for personal responsibility.

The question is, we have environments which also are not conducive to large numbers of African-Americans...

Whats not conductive if you act like a human being the whole damn world is open to you your ideas the mindset that someone owes you something because someone in your family tree was wronged back 100 years ago has got to stop your mind is your own but if you waste it on ileagle lazy ways out you lose and so does society

KING: Personality responsibility plays into that as well.

NORTH: Take the party labels off for a second and give me three policies that you think any administration ought to do that would appeal to the, quote, "black community "that ought to be -- that would help the problem of crime, the problem of absentee fathers, the problem of bad schools...

DANIELS: I'll give you one, in terms of urban areas, and that's the domestic Marshall plan. If we can spend billions of dollars in -- and the amount of exception to, which is what Martin Luther King would call it in Iraq.

We certainly should be able to find the same resources to make sure we have quality schools, that we, in fact, rebuild the inner cities, that we have housing and health care.

NORTH: ... be any good. People are flying airplanes into buildings and we can't stop terrorism. You know we have a war on.

No he dont just watch and see

DANIEL: Yes, there's war on. I'm dealing with the war on terror. I'm talking about Iraq. I didn't talk about Afghanistan.

NORTH: It's a war on terror. I just got back from Iraq. I'm going back out there in a couple of weeks. It's a war. It's a war on terrorism.

DANIELS: Well, you say it's a war on terrorism. And I'm saying that one of the problems is the United States had no business going into Iraq in the first place.

So mass graves and WMD's are no reason to go to Iraq ? not even thinking about our safety here in this country might i add no attacks after 911 and many sleepers caught right here on our shores links made and ignored by the leftist liberal media and countless treasonous statments made by the left against our very form of government !

COLMES: That's immaterial to the point here.

As are you Mr Colmes

NORTH: What's he got to do?

DANIELS: That's the three C's. That's the three C's -- disease, I called it -- Condoleezza, Clarence and Colin.

I don't get it. Daniels' had a problem with competent people at the top of the Washington power structure. Makes no sense to me.

BTW you were right, that IS an ugly mug!

COLMES: That's immaterial to the point here.

Actually, that was my point - Daniels and Colmes tried to hijack the topic into Iraq, I brought them back to point.
