Despite what you may have heard, Howard Stern and his Ex-Wife Alison HATE each other. I know this from first-hand info we all grew up (Howards family and mine) in the same school district, and my siblings were around the same age as his kids.
The stories abound, including harsh words exchanged before his daughters prom, when both parents were vying for photos. Everyone in the school system knows this stuff.
Anyway, does anyone know the politics of the ex-Alison Stern and her new husband? If they are favorable, she would be a powerful weapon against Howard.
I forgot to add -- her soon to be ex- new husband, i believe (possibly). I'm not sure about that rumor, though.
So, did you have Mr. Joye for Math?
Interesting thread.
Bixhorn, McCrenam, Kay, and a big guy who's name I can''t remember for calc.
BUMP!
My son's math instructor is a Dr. Payne.
I believe Mr. Joye is long since retired. He was Howard's math teacher on Long Island. I worked with his son about a decade ago.
Mr. Joye listened to Howard only a few times. He is alleged to have commented, "The kid was a jerk back then and nothing much has changed."
Who cares, Stern is a dirty mouthed, unfunny, boring A-Hole!
Sorry to hear this.

I think as conservatives, we should obey The Golden Rule as Ronald Reagan did in his life, and as George W. Bush expressed earlier this week when Bill Clinton's portrait was unveiled at the White House. We are not beholden to tabloid journalism, and do not wish such personal tragedies on our opposition.
I stopped listening to Stern because he began to spread lies about George W. without argument, not because he failed in his marriage to Alison. I think it's base to attack Stern or anyone on something as personal as divorce when ideas are greater than someone's personal failings. Granted, Stern has attacked his competitors with their personal failings, but the response is up to his competitors, not us. And I know Stern collects data against Bush and the FCC that is personal, but most of it is untrue, and he appears more a fool for spreading it, especially if it doesn't provoke of us to resort in personal attacks against his failed family life.
As I recall during my hours of listening to his program, his children are all liberal, so I suspect his wife is liberal as well. They are die-hard Democrats, and I doubt his support for Kerry will keep them from voting for Kerry in the fall. Their anger towards each other is something Stern does not mention, and perhaps that is a major failing on his part, because he often prides himself with honesty even when after his divorce, he proved himself to be more than dishonest.
Still, there is no reason to continue to listen to Stern. He has become a predictable liberal Democrat that doesn't even deserve attention. I rather see his ratings fall rather than see him thrown out by an FCC action.

Maybe I am low brow, but I enjoyed this thread.
Howard is a liar and a phoney and I think if someone here knows what is really happening behind the scenes to expose this fraud then GOOD!
