I know that many people feel that it is more important to cast a principled vote for a sure loser than to have a chance of victory with a major candidate whose beliefs don't quite match one's own. Why a certain stubborn loss trumps a partial victory is a puzzle I will never understand.
Third parties do not win the Presidency, unless and until they have won substantial following at the local level. The best chance for achieving one's political goals is to reform a party from within. Not easy but far more likely.
I could "posibly" understand if the candidate was one of principle...but this guy seems to think Saddam just needed a little counseling.
