Can Anyone Explain The 13 Hour Time Lapse In The Berg Beheading?

I have yet to hear a logical explanation for the time lapse of over 13 hours from the time the executioner pulls out his knife to cut his head off, to the next scene where Nick Berg is on the ground struggling with his killers.
The time goes from 2:44 to 13:45. One will also notice that the pictures then become very blurred and out of focus.
At the beginning of the video, Berg is sitting alone in his chair at 13:26, then goes back to 2:18, then back to 2:40. Throughout Berg's narration, he seems relatively calm - as if he had no idea what was about to happen.
Also, can anyone translate the Arabic characters at the beginning of the film?
I think these are valid questions that deserve answers - Let's discuss this Freepers - Any ideas?

Let's hear some theories - I was thinking two cameras. Two time stamps.

More than ONE vidcam used.
(I SWEAR I typed it that way. My posts keep losing key words and puntuation, it's driving me 'round the bend!)

The time goes from 2:44 to 13:45. The clip I saw looked like it went from 12:44 to 13:45. It could be the time or - the minutes.

He was beheaded many hours after his death.

Nope - I just saw it again - it was definitely 2:44 - and it seems to be the same camera - the time stamp is identical.

"He was beheaded many hours after his death."
Wrong - he can be clearly heard screaming while they are in the process.
Another question is the body that was found on the bridge claming to be Berg had his socks on - why would the killers bother to put his socks on?

They do not know how to set the time on the camera because the instructions are in spanish?

The cameras have identical time stamp locations and font - and I can't understand why two would be needed when they are taken from the same place.

Wrong - he can be clearly heard screaming while they are in the process. Not necessarily. With a little knowledge you can dub sound onto video.

I don't remember the site but I saw a plausible explanation about it. Something about two cameras and camera operators filming at the same time but having two time stamps. The dude who wrote it sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
According to him the only lapse is a 22 minute gap between the solo shot with Berg in the chair and the group shot with him on the floor... Presumably the time it took to set up the execution scene.
BTW... Does this somehow diminish the act? I don't really care if there are days worth of missing time. The dude got his head cut off. Seriously.

Ever since the first time I saw the video I have had doubts about the screaming. The first thing I noticed was that it is out of synch with the actions. I have this niggling feeling that the "scream" isn't even Berg's, that maybe it's dubbed in for effect.

Why in the world would anyone want to dub in the sound when the real thing would be much worse?

I'm just saying that there is more to this than meets the eye. For example, in the picture where he was found on the bridge, he had his socks on.
Look at the video - he was barefooted - why would anyone put socks back on him?

Who knows? I am not even 100% convinced he was even the one in video being beheaded. Where is the head?

Another interesting thing is that the killer who started cutting, is not the same one who ultimately makes the final severing of the head and holds it up to the camera.
There was nothing in the video to show that the knife changed hands. Again, the time stamp on the video changes once again.
I think these questions should be answered considering the impact this film and event is having.
