Well, if I were making an erroneous statement, I would expect to be corrected about it. If there were no personal attack involved in the response, I would certainly not feel the need to press abuse.

Several of us have risked banning to stand up and tell what has been going on. Do I want to be banned from this forum? No. But is it worth it to me to just step in line and pretend like some really bad things aren't going on here? It's not. I'm sorry that you want to address our concerns with sarcasm. I'm sorry that you apparently take others words for the alledged abuse instead of investigating it yourself. I'm sorry that one can't have a good discussion on creation/evolution without insults flying. You know, I was on the religion forum a few days ago and it has mostly turned to Catholic articles. Most of the religious debate is gone. The forum IS changing, and it's not for the better. As group after group fall away, the threads will become a chat room. Minds will not have the opportunity to solidify what they believe or even be convinced of something else because there will be very little diversity of opinion. That is a sad thing to happen to this forum, but it's coming.

I've spoken my peace. Unless there is something else that I need to respond to, I believe I'll skidaddle.

I have seen my name and person defamed on your website for the last time. From the time that I
was banned through the false charges of Alamo Girl concerning banning until today, a certain
group of posters has continued to smear and lie concerning me, my character and my actions. I
would be more than ecstatic, at this point, to see this entire defamation campaign exposed
before a jury. You have not been told the truth by Alamo Girl or others concerning myself. I
request that you remove the proceeding defaming post from your website as well as the poster
who maligned my name. I furthermore request that the group of evolutionists who have been most
abusive concerning myself and other creationists (you know who they are) to be warned to cease
and desist. You have a good 2 months of damning evidence against you on your webiste. Is it
really worth it to continue this nonsense?

I've been lurking this thread and skimming through it this morning... A few things jump out at
me: 

1) The incessant whining of DittoJed2 and, of course, LBB (That's Gore3000, aka "Little Boy
Blue" for you non-CREVO thread readers. He always posts in blue... kinda like that annoying
kid back in 7th grade with all the bodily function noises all the time, just to get attention.
Sure, he got the attention, but he never made an intelligent sound.) 

2) they both implore us to visit their little site. Here, I'll do it again: everyone go to
DesignedUniverse.com. Currently, there are about 5 or 6 "members" there, at least 3 of which
are recently banned (and quite angry) FReepers. The only catch is, to read their venom, one
has to register. Fair enough... until you realize you have to give the site owner way too much
personal information. Which, most times, would be fine as well. 

3) HOWEVER, the site owner is non other than banned FReeper ALS. Possibly the scariest poster
I've ever been witness too. Alamo Girl has accused him of "cyber stalking." I am fully aware
of another female FReeper who has a similar (and even scarier) story about the man. I don't
know many details, but I certainly believe both women, as I have never had reason not too. So,
ALS has this little thing going over there at his site, with 2 other bannees
(goodseedhomeschool and jessesherun) and a few of our more colorful creationists (gore3000 et
al) and they want US to visit, give names, residencies, IP's, addresses, god knows what else,
you sure as hell know he logs each and every IP that visits his site (and notice that gore's
recently posted links all take you there) and lord knows what he does with the info he
collects. And no, this isn't tin foil material, I am actually serious, despite my screenname. 

4) Spurious accusations? Hollow accusations? perhaps... but I doubt it. Those of us who have
been witness to the coordinated blitzkreig of the Des.Uni crowd know better. Bannees returning
with false aliases, obvious flame-baiting with new screen names, abuse of the abuse button,
pulled threads, endless nazi claims, on and on and on. For a short while, it kind of worked
(Late July/early August) as we simply became tired of the crap and some of us took a break.
One of "us" couldn't control himself and got banned. (Aric2000... which by the way, was
justified). Thankfully, the mods caught on to the game and 3 of the worst were subsequently
banned. (and one, jessesherun, got banned while posting in the religion forum, which I still
find schaudenfreudian delight in). 

5) Anyway, it must be said there are a few on the creationist side I take no umbrage with.
Plenty, actually. Once in a while, some fall victim to the DesUni crowd which sucks. I'd just
like to publicly thank whomever is/was responsible for the bannings of the previously
mentioned FReepers and to say that that is a big part of the reason I've doubled my FR
donation this quarter. 

6) There are some rather brilliant folks over on the science threads. You ALL should visit
those threads sometimes, as it's often a good diversion from day to day politics. The
mysterious Ichneumon, king of the thorough and reasoned posts is always good for some
learning. RadioAstronomer is a fountain of knowledge. VadeRetro, RightWingProfessor,
PatrickHenry, Piltdown_Woman, Physicist... on and on. Always good stuff (whether I "get" it
all the time or not.) Of course I've forgotten several other posters.
