And we have said repeatedly, if they would cut out the Christian bashing we'd go away.

The problem is that all too often, any disagreement with "creationism" (any version) or any pointing out that the physical evidence doesn't support certain creationist suppositions can raise outraged accusations of "Christian-bashing".

And it's hardly "Christian-bashing" which is the main draw for creationists on the science threads (they generally show up *before* anyone has ever mentioned religion) -- unless of course you want to try to expand the definition far enough that mainstream science itself is considered an affront to your faith. What brings the Usual Creationist Suspects to the science threads is a chance to explain to all of us ignorant folk how wrong evolution/geology/physics/cosmology is, how mainstream science is a conspiracy of atheists hiding the horrible secret that *real* science (the suppressed part) actually confirms that what the Bible says is literally true, including Earth being only a few thousand years old, etc.

For example, in your first plunge into the evolution-creation debates, on the first page of the thread, you wrote:

I don't find evolutionists "amusing". I find them pathetically sad. I also find them angering because they willfully distort the record in text books to get kids to believe the lie of evolution while suppressing anything that even sounds like creation.

There had been no "Christian-bashing" on that thread to that point, nor even any mention of Christians until *you* raised the issue in post #13 ("And because most people have heard only the evolutionary viewpoint about these creatures, it is important that Christians know how to respond to the evolutionary comments").

So if we're supposed to avoid anything you and your friends might construe as even a hint of "Christian-bashing", when can we expect you to refrain from initiating the neverending game of "science bashing"?

So please, stop claiming that the creationists only show up on the science threads to defend Christians from unprovoked attacks. It's not true. They swarm there to attack the science, and would continue to do so whether Christians, Christianity, or creationism were mentioned or not. And on the few science threads the creationists manage to miss, lo and behold, the posts fail to turn into the predicted Christian-roast, instead people actually talk about the science involved (well, and cheese and moose of course).

Looks like we're going away any way.

Because you choose to, or because you think you're going to be booted?

Bashing evolution is not bashing science as I have said many times and has never been refuted. Evolution is not science, it is an abomination of science. Science and scientists is not about 'possibly', 'could be' and 'maybe' as Darwin and all evolutionists on these threads , on articles, on books, - in short - everywhere claim. Science is about hard facts, experiments and observations.

Further, the fact that you equate bashing evolution with Christian bashing shows quite well that you know evolution is not science, but a religion, your religion.
