Like washerwomen at the back fence, angry that they didn't get invited to the canasta party? (My Grandmother, rest her soul, would be so angry with me for saying that, LOL!)

I felt like I was venturing into an old folks home when I visited the Biker Bar.They are unable to have a life of their own..they live to gossip about what others have done or are doing. It reminded me of folks who can't stop obsessing over one of their "ex-"s (either someone who dumped them, or who they couldn't get along with and left), and then ends up stalking them, or is unable to get over the shocking fact that their "ex" is getting along just fine without them.
