Just a little note about me. I am a single mother of two beautiful children. I have been working at temp jobs to provide for them. My ex husband was ordered to pay $150.00 a month in child support, and is behind by about 6 months now. I have been informed that my latest job is ending next week.

I am not saying this to gain sympathy from anyone. I am saying this because I am dropping $10.00 cash-I can't afford to get a money order-in the mail to Jim Rob tomorrow. If I can find a way to spend this amount to keep FR available, I know many others of you can too. It only takes a few dollars from each of us that enjoy the site to provide the financing JR needs to keep the site up and running.

Think about it: what does FR mean to you? Is it important enough to scrape together a few dollars? It is to me. Thanks Jim Robinson for this terrific forum!! YOU ROCK!!

I feel we need moderators, have they sanatized FR, or nutered it into a tame boring site, did our activism bite the dust?

As a 199'er - I saw the absolute need for Mods to be added. As we grew, we attracted all sorts of vermin and drive-by shooters.

Plus good folks who had a problem with tempering their rhetoric.

I have yet to be banned, but I have had my moments with the Mods and with JimRob.

It makes me sad that folks think bad of Jim, and by extension, all of us. But, all I can do is what I do; toss a dollar or two to keep the best site on the net up and going.

Thanks for sharing your story, that was certainly enlightening to say the least. Anarchists are the LAST thing I would ever want to see promoted on FR, nor do I think most of us would. One has only to go to one of their websites, which unfortunately lately, I have had to, but that's another story, to see that they are the very thing this site stands against.

The fact that Jim says such nice things about Joe in spite of all of this is the evidence of his good character which those of us who know him are fully aware of.
