VANITY: The "Truth" about JimRob and Free Republic according to BADJOE

Dear Free Republic Friends,

My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.

So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):

I have poisoned the well.

By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.

By my intellectual ineptitude.

By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.

By my biting every hand that fed me.

By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.

By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.

Evidenced by:

One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.

By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.

BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.

Conclusion:

It is a sad day.

For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.

So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?

I can hardly wait.

Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

Your arguments would hold a lot more water, if ALS was actually a christian. Just because someone calls themselves one, doesn't mean they are one.

What kind of "christian" is so full of hatred, anger, and vile words? No follower of Christ would act in such a manner. By their works shall ye know them, and quite frankly I don't know if I want to know any more...

I count a grand total of 5 POSTS IN 3 DAYS THAT ARE EVEN ADDRESSED TO YOU! GOOD GRIEF AG! If that is stalking, then thank heaven I've never freepmailed you or I'd be next on your list of stalkers! The truth is, you don't have proof of stalking. You have proof that ALS was asking you, as Moderator, to rein in the evoperps (NOTE TO EVOS THIS IS A SPECIFIC GROUP OF EVOS I'M REFERRING TO, NOT ALL OF THE EVOS). He freepmails you, you freemail him. He emails you, you email him (or visa versa). Both stop the emails and freepmails at basically the same time and yet, ALS continues to be SLANDERED on this forum by the beast-hugger! Give it a rest woman! Talk about obsessive hatred! The spin doesn't work when you have the evidence before your eyes. There was no stalking.

Take a look around at FR with your eyes open, and take note of the number of posters here, especially the non-christians, who spend major amounts of time defending the Christian faith from attacks by the ACLU, and other groups.

Thanks for making this point. I used to be a bit down on conservative Christians myself, just because of the way I was treated by a "cabal" of Pat Robertson supporters at precint conventions back in the 80's. However my outlook steadly changed as I observed conservative Christians transition the political/coalition building learning curve, to the point where someone like Ralph Read, coming from the "divisive" Christian Coalition of the 80's, is now one of the Pubbies most valued activists.

We secularists have plenty of opportunity to defend our conservative Christian brethren, I assure you. They should hear what is said behind their backs. The knee-jerk, spittle-flecked vituperation directed against them is sometimes unbelievable (maybe that's just because I live in a college town). I have never passed on a opportunity to strenuously confront hateful libs with their bigotry in this regard, and to remind them that they are attacking tens of millions of Americans with such comments (the bulk of them among the ordinary, hard-working, community oriented classes that pretend to have such "compassion" for).

Oh, I've seen it with my own eyes, and formed a judgement. That judgement is, ALS is not a good person to rally around as a paragon of innocence and virtue. I see him contaminate everyone around him... :(
