Under the agreement the only people who could be "insulted" by being labeled a troll or disruptor would be those who were, well, being trolls or disruptors -- and who had refused invitations to stop doing so.

For the benefit of the lurkers, and the mods, I think some background should be provided. Again, I remind everyone that the "Agreement of the Willing" can be found on my freeper home page. It's still very much in effect for those who have signed on to it.

The agreement's "troll-calling" provision was not a license to run around insulting people. It was entirely defensive in nature, and it's so cumbersome, with so many warnings required and opportunities for the offending poster to change his ways, that it was very sparingly used. I think it happened only twice. The first was ALS -- a troll by anyone's definition. And now he's banned. There is only one other still-posting troll who has been declared to be such according to the agreement: gore3000 is declared a troll.

And, just who was it, Patrick, who managed to litter every thread (particularly when the usual suspects were losing debates) with "VIRTUAL IGNORE IS YOUR FRIEND: THERE IS NOTHING MORE PATHETIC THAN A TRACTIONLESS TROLL"? Could it be - YOU? Also, you're posting "SLIME" on most threads was surely acting within the spirit of what the Agreement was supposed to stand for.

Next time you post something like that, *please* use the <blockquote> construct to indent the posts you are quoting in their entirety -- the fact that you included the headers and footers of those posts made it extremely hard to see that they were all part of *your* post, and not separate posts posted to this thread by the original authors.

For example, the footer of Alamo-girl's 1261 which you quoted made it look as if *she* had posted the "petticoat all in a bunch" text, and that HalfFull's 1262 was a new post in this current thread, etc.

If the moderators are able to edit the post to make the quoted posts clearly quotes instead of appearing to be separate posts to this thread, I ask them to please do so.

It does not help the Cause to keep these festering petty animosities.

Forgiveness allows us to stay healthy both physically and spiritually.

Furthermore, forgiveness will make you like the bigger person in any dispute, even when you were treated unfairly.

Wrong. First of all you are changing the meaning of stalking. Stalking is going around digging dirt to assassinate the character of people from personal and places other than what is on the record here. Second of all I have not agreed to anything. Last time I agreed to something on these threads I was shown the fruitlessness of making agreements with people with no morals.

Third of all, the examples were completely relevant, they showed the despicable actions of the evo mediator in the discussions shortly after he had promised to be civil.
