VANITY: The "Truth" about JimRob and Free Republic according to BADJOE

Dear Free Republic Friends,

My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.

So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):

I have poisoned the well.

By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.

By my intellectual ineptitude.

By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.

By my biting every hand that fed me.

By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.

By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.

Evidenced by:

One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.

By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.

BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.

Conclusion:

It is a sad day.

For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.

So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?

I can hardly wait.

Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

Ichneumon, I hadn't posted to AG in quite a while. I posted TWICE to her on one thread, without calling names, just questioning her facts. Next afternoon, without any additional posts to her in between I'm singled out with others for "harassment". No exaggeration there.

I just want to step back to a post last night, on this thread, about a donation of $1.00 from someone who could not afford more, but wanted to help out in some way. That really touched me!

I decided to donate a little more to add to that heart-given donation, to round it up to $20. (I've done so on the Freepathon thread)

I wish I knew what state it was, so that credit can be given, but at any rate I feel that the effort to be part of the Freepathon and to help out Free Republic, should not go unnoticed. It is people like this who keep Free Republic going.

Indeed! The Word of God is alive; John 1 tells us that Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh, that the Word is in the beginning and is God. Moses came long after the beginning. And before He ascended, Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to lead us into Truth. I would never intentionally ignore the Holy Spirit.

It has been absolute warfare here and I'm sick to death of it. I won't at all claim that the other creationists, or even myself a few times, have acted with the most pleasant demeanors - but our guys keep getting banned and about 3 trouble makers on the Creationist threads are allowed to stay. If you want more details, then I can let you know- but, you're probably smart enough to not want to get in the middle of it all. I certainly don't blame you there. Just suffice it to say, that Alamo Girl truly ended up being a disappointment with her treatment of myself and other creationists.

I was on those crevo threads as well. If you want to stop the warfare, don't be a part of it. You were quick to jump in and attack A-G when she was only trying to mediate our disputes fairly. Which you and your buddies continuously tried to disrupt.

At no time did it occur to you to try and reel in your supposed "friends" who's only interest was disrupting the threads, as they already freely admitted. And they succeeded in getting several of them pulled. You made no attempt to "stop the warfare". You freely participated in it and encouraged it.

No one's buying your act who saw what you folks were doing. You might as well give it up.
