The linked article does NOT support your claim that "there is a much much higher correlation between pot use and cocaine use than there is between alcohol use and cocaine use." It shows comparable correlations:
Children who drink are 50 times more likely to use cocaine than non-drinkers.
Kids who smoke pot are 85 times more likely to use cocaine than non pot-smokers.
