Too bad our society isn't ready to face the fact that alcohol is a major "gateway" drug too But only because it is much more readily available. Thank God pot is illegal or we would have a much bigger problem.

the answer is pot, and why is it easier?
because alcohol is regulated and controlled
Pot is not, therefore why not sell it to minors the drug dealers is already breaking the law.

have you been to a teenage party lately?
There is an abundance of Pot smoking going on,Ectasy and other drugs as well
and guess what some of these kids are 13, 14, 15, not adults
again drugs are easy to get because they are illegal
wake up and smell the drug war, It's not working.

Alcohol all by itself is by far – many times over – the worst drug problem this country has.
Thousands and thousand of people die each year from alcohol use.
Nobody has ever died from marijuana use.
Marijuana is not addictive. Alcohol is one of the most physically addictive substances known to man (as bad and sometimes worse than heroin)
Some of you people have your head buried deep in the sand. Your naiveté is shocking.
Marijuana is illegal because the alohol industry wants it illegal.
If Marijuana was legal and alcohol was illegal there would far less deaths.
