Damn, I told her to get off the computer!

Last month, she logged on to the Petco site and ordered a container truck of kibble.

Look, curtting and pasting other people's words from your favorite fundamentalist Christian links isn't an argument. Anyone who's been around on crevo threads more than a week (and unlike you, I suspect, I've read some of his creationist writings and some of the real science he was doing previously. Johnson is a lawyer. He's as qualified to pontificat on evolution as I am on the Commerce Clause (though I suppose it doesn't stop me either). Arguments that ID is not religiously motivated are tough to make when the founders of the movement candidly admit their motivations are at least in part religious.

The student is wrong in stating that evolution violates the second law. Evolution can be and has been reproduced and observed. And so on. Nor is the piece you pasted particularly well-written.

Good News For The Day

‘But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’ (Matthew 6:33)

"Once there was a change in our family situation. Our pet dog passed away and we salved our grief by acquiring a new one-a blue cattle pup. He was intelligent and very mischievous. We had a lot of fun with him. while he was small, he would amuse us by trying to catch his own tail and bite it. He would spy the tip of his tail out of the corner of his eye, and, readying himself, lunge at it, as if hunting prey. But of course, the more he pounced, the more his tail moved out of his reach. The only way a dog can really have its tail is to allow it to be an attachment to its main body."

"The... tail comes along just fine---when it is not its owner's preoccupation."

"Jesus advises us that though there are many good and important things, only one can be most important-the kingdom of God and his righteousness. First things must come first. All of life, with its experiences, decisions and relationships, needs to be evaluated in light of the highest ideal."

"When God is given pride of place, the machinery of existence operates at its best."

(Charles Darwin to Asa Gray, cited by Adrian Desmond and James Moore, Darwin, (New York: W.W. Norton and Company, 1991) p. 456, 475.)

go buy the book, lazy

OK guys, I bought the book. It's a paperback, so the page numbering is different. It will take a while to find the quote and scan it, But I promise the quote will be placed in full context.

"a" naturalistic origin of species? which one?

I know of Lamarckianism and Darwinism. What others are there? Anything that includes 'and then a supernatural being came along...' is excluded.

I think the answer is clear: some of us have evolved from slime, and some of us were created.

However, no one is able to break scientific laws at all,

Really? So the Perihilion of Mercury experiment was impossible, because it would have violated Newton's Laws of Gravity?

And those who were evolved from slime know who they are and those who were created by God know who they are.
