But "she wasn't a radical extremist," he said. "She wasn't someone who would participate in protests for the thrill of it. She wasn't reckless."

yeah. right. it isn't reckless to sit down in front of a bulldozer. not at all. good clean fun is all...

"I am just beginning to learn from what I expect to be a very intense tutelage," she wrote, "about the ability of people to organize against all odds, and to resist against all odds."

I guess she didn't learn quick enough!

Rachel Corrie wrote that "no amount of reading, attendance at conferences, documentary viewing . . . could have prepared me for the reality of the situation here."

Yeah, it took a bulldozer to do that.

Corrie's parents, Craig and Cynthia Corrie of Charlotte, N.C., released a statement saying they "are proud Rachel was able to live her convictions.

Sounds like Mr. and Mrs. Lewinsky

Tough break for her I guess, but she was enabling violent terrorist and paid the price for them. If she knows the truth now she will realize she gave her life to protect scum who kill Jewish children without pause.

Martyr, Ironic that is also the reference to Palistineans who tie bombs around themselves and blow up a bus full of teenagers

And here is another. these are genuine, actually of her, showing Palestinian children how to burn American flags. There appear to be none of her showing how to lubricate tank treads.

Very unfortunate. This little idiot may have eventually grown up and made something of herself.

Now all she gets for her trouble is her own funeral and her name printed on a bunch of anti-war signs.

Ms Corrie - "If you can understand people who are different than you, you can help resolve the conflict."

I can see how well this theory worked for her.....

I do feel badly for her and her family that it ended this way.

It's a little late for a recall, she's already dead. The proper time for a recall would have been last week.
