I would like for this page to contain different view points about the upcoming war in Iraq. I would like people to offer information that supports military action or is against military action. Be creative!

Well, from your comment......"If you had an original thought it would die of loneliness" I am going to assume you are trying to say that I'm far too stupid and your wisdom is infinitely on a higher level. I agree, we will probably be going after a lot of those countries over there that harbor terrorists, and it won't STOP with Iraq, but I personally don't want to live in fear because some people are too afraid to go after ALL terrorists in EVERY country that harbors them. Oh, sorry, my sweetness, that wasn't an original thought was it? Why? Because the majority of Americans feel the way I do, according to the polls and therefore support this war against Iraq, and any other terrorist regime? Probable.

Baa Baa Baa. How many will it take to kill them all? Given that each one has at 4 or 5 people who love them too and will take up arms to replace them. A morally superior army is one that fights in defense. Not one used for conquest, Sugar plum.

Yep, sweetpea, it won't be an easy road. Since we are no longer safe from terrorism, and the oceans don't provide any type of security anymore, and since Saddam is just one of many terrorist dictators, what is your solution to making this place a little safer, in light of what we have seen terrorists can and will do, and since you don't agree with a pre-emptive strike?

Well Sugar Cake, a few things could be done right away. One is to stop propping up and supporting dictators like Saddam in the first place and bring our troops home from around the world. We should be a country that uses its army for self defense and defense of our liberty. NATO and the US DOD are armies of conquest now. It will only end in our demise if we do not return to the rule of law and constitutional rule. Without that fundamental building block our government is a hypocrisy. It is also in a position to attack anywhere they desire to attack.

I am certain of one thing. Selling drugs to arm people who commit rape and murder, selling weapons to Islamist fundamentalists like Iran, and using fear to gain political ends is always terrorism. That is unless Ollie North does it with Nicaragua. Then it is helping Freedom Fighters.
