"Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord, has done more, save Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it."

That statement puts him subordinate to Jesus Christ, which is proper.

And I completely agree with the statement, of course. No single man has had more impact on spiritual truth, except for Jesus Christ only.

 

Gosh!  Poor ol' Noah, Moses,  Isaiah, John and Peter and Paul really got shoved to the back of the room, didn't they!
