There is now nothing preventing the President and congress from restoring our republic to what the Founders intended.

You sound like the Republicans have 61 Senators in the Senate, which they do not. They only have 51 (maybe), one of whom, Chafee, may jump. The Republicans cannot end filibusters having only 51 Senate seats. A skillful and stubborn Democrat political infighter will tie the Senate into knots, the Republicans will be unable to do anything without Democrat cooperation.

Ok, so a Dem minority in the Senate might be able to stop Republicans from revoking laws, cutting taxes, ending programs.

But I think Republicans are going to pass laws to make government bigger. Dems won't stop that. I also think they're going to renew big government, unconstitutional legislation that expires (assault weapons ban). Dems won't stop that either. What's the excuse then?

We've all seen that the president can be an effective leader. He proved it on the campaign trail and he's proven it with the American people as it applies to the "war on terror".

LEADERSHIP can bring about the overhaul of our government.
LEADERSHIP can prevent the train wreck that is social security.
LEADERSHIP can return our nation to greatness.

Is Bush that kind of leader?
Do we have the right kind of brave leadership in the house & senate?
