I'd love to see the list of Libertarian SENATORS in Congress
So, it's your assessment that any political opinion is invalid and worthless unless that ideology is able to attain a seat in Congress. How quaint, and unfortunately, un-American. Do you deny that the two party system has done a remarkable job of protecting not only the status quo of having only two parties, but also gerrymandering districts to such a fine degree as to make most congressional seats completely secure for the incumbent. Of the 435 seats in the House, how many were even competitive during this election? Maybe 20? Let's not pretend that the deck isn't stacked against third party ideas.

Is John Cornyn as conservative as i would like? No. But he's better than Ron Kirk, who actually IS a fairly conservative Dem. He is still a Dem, and we will have a more conservative government with Trent Lott running the Senate that with Satan's handmaiden Daschle. It hurts to say that because I think Lott is a spineless idiot, and wouldn't hire him to mow my yard, but he's better than Daschle (not by much). That's how incrementalism works.
