Free Republic and Liberty Post.org
To all:
I would hope your appearances and posting on these pages states your desire to undo years of liberal policies in this land I hope we all dearly love. I would hope that a hundred successful LibertyPost.org and FreeRepublics would advance the cause we all hold near and dear.
From what I have read here it seems many are more interested in fighting each other than they are in advancing the cause of individual liberty and limited constitution government as envisioned by our forefathers.
If my second paragraph is the truth, shame on you.
Let us stop the petty bickering about crap that doesn't amount to a hill of blue beans and get on with the job at hand.

The only thing confirmed is that you are a nasty, vulgar, vindictive wench. Congrats linda, you just made the big time.Perhaps you could post the entire exchange. Given the shrill, rude manner in which some folks engage in on-line debate, there is a very good chance the poster in question was being a nasty, vulgar, vindictive wench.

Went over there for a couple of minute. Same crap, different website. The AFer's should just go set up their own mutual mast****tion society and let the libertarians have a discussion site. Then it might be interesting.

Ain't trolling fun? I just requested that the operators over at
that site enforce their own posting guidelines. I'm using a sundial to see how long it takes ...

> BTW, you're a joke, Joe. Hope that helps.
I guess we'll see now if the operators of this site take their own posting guidelines seriously. You know, the ones that say "Should any user defy the rules of civility, exercise poor manners, their rudeness, personal attacks, intended disruptions, and mean-spirited actions will be rewarded with a revocation of rights of participation, which can be temporary or permanant ..."
I wouldn't bet the ranch on it though. They don't even seem capable of using a spell checker on a "permanent" basis; why should one expect them to enforce their own rules?

Are you implying the discussion of freedom, and how to obtain, and preserve it, is now tinfoil land?

No. I'm suggesting tinfoil land is wacko land. Not wanted here. Thanks

"There is a large spectrum of information and opinions out there. It is far wiser to judge them on a case by case basis, then to say they suck because they aren't FR. It's good to argue your position, if only to see how it holds up against attempted refuation."
A breath of fresh air.

I've been invited to post over at LibertyPost I haven't!
Maybe if I showered, before I log on?

Out in the fringes of tinfoil land, left and right is indistinguishable.Very true, and many times are the sound bite on the 11 O'clock news.

Only the Afers suck, and thats because they have nothing better to do than call people filthy names and make false allegations. The site initially looked like it could have some potential. Unfortunately, quite a few AFers seem to have settled in. There goes the neighborhood.

I don't think this thread should become a running commentary on the foul manners and filthy dispositions of a pathetic group of losers (and former FReepers) who use the guise of "truth seeking" to make disgusting personal attacks, sexually explicit innuendo and display what would conventionally be seen as a fetishizing of FR and its participants.
Any rational thinking agent can discern whether they want to participate there, and the owners can decide whether they want to permit civil behavior across the board or not.
The purpose of that forum is primarily a political one, and it was temporarily co-opted by a group of self appointed FRigilates.

Maybe if I showered, before I log on?The place is full of AFers. I would instead suggest donning your waders and grabbing a shovel, and save the shower for afterwards.

You're absolutely right. My husband and I realized this tendency as long ago as 1972, when we first became part of the conservative political base. It appears that the liberals stick together, come what may, but we get sidetracked by petty differences, and are therefore unable to reach our goals. However, I don't have a solution.

But isn't that part of the problem? If one sets up a site for any ideology to come and speak, then there is the risk that the site will be hijacked by those wanting to advance their ideology, be it Nazism, be it communism, be it anarchism, be it Anti-freeperism (and just like I don't consider Scientology to be a religion, the practitioners act like it is, and while I don't consider anti-freeperism to be an ideology, the AFers sure act as if it encompasses their entire ideologic outlook on life).

For crying out loud, this herd mentality "They suck, we rule" is ridiculous. Let them talk about what ever they want even if it doesn't fit with your specific definition of "conservative." There is a large spectrum of information and opinions out there.True. I like FR because it's a mixture of opinions and it stays mostly civil. I don't agree with many threads being pulled but I don't get to see what got it pulled most of the time and even when things end up just flamewars, it tells me about those posters all I need to know about them. We're not supposed to always agree because then there wouldn't be anything to discuss.

The purpose of that forum is primarily a political one, and it was temporarily co-opted by a group of self appointed FRigilates.Maybe the folks in charge of that forum could put a limitation on AF activity there - anyone who has been in this routine for more than a couple of years can recognize the usual suspects. There is a distinct line between fair criticism and mudslinging, and the constant bleating that JimRob is getting rich off of FR is a dead giveaway.
