I have to disagree with you that circumcision is not painful for infants. My son was born at home and circumcised at home, at 8 days of age (doctor said blood clots better between 7-10 days of birth). I had to hold my son while this was done to him. IT WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR PAINLESS!
I was circumcised as a baby and I REMEMBER no pain at all. I am sure this also holds true for all the other men who were circumcised shortly after birth. However, if you wait until you are an adult to be circumcised you will feel a lot of pain and it will last for weeks.
