Oh give me a break. Male circumcision is not even remotely comparable to this. What a male has removed is the foreskin, which would roughly equate with the hood of the clitoris in a woman. To remove the entire clitoris, hood, external and internal labia, would not be comparable to anything you could do to a man. Since we are built differently, you see, one is not the same as the other.
If you look at a book showing how the human embryo differentiates those cells that all start off as gonad cells, then divide into the different parts they are intended to be, you can see that in the female the urinary tract separates from the clitoral tissue. In the male, they remain joined as you obviously know.
There probably was a question of "cleanliness" involved in circumcision of the male, and it was probably intended more to PROTECT the female from infections which may lead to infertility. Just my guess?
