A woman is accused of drowning her six-year-old niece during a wedding celebration because the child “looked prettier than her.”

The woman, who goes by Poonam, reportedly drowned her young relative in a tub of water after her family gathered for a ceremony in Panipat, northern India, on Monday.

I’m not sure if this was an Indian woman but years ago i remember a horrible story about the mother of a beauty queen pouring hot oil on the daughters face to disfigure her because she was jealous the daughter would marry and leave her. The disfiguring by the hot oil would mean no man would want her- it was an awful story...

I don’t go to the “ Big City” much, but was in San Antonio awhile back and the number of women I saw with those injection freakish fish lips was creepy. Whoever thinks it is a beauty enhancer is nuts.
