A British female scientist (not a biologist, she just happened to be a scientist) made the point that a woman with 50 husbands has no more reproductive opportunities than a woman with one husband. A man with 50 wives has far more than a man with one wife. Natural selection explains why women are much more selective in choosing a mate, while men are, shall we say, less selective.
I recall some years ago I worked in a facility with about 3,000 other employees. There was a woman there who I thought was the prettiest in the whole facility. We wound up working together on the same project when I was about 50 and she was in her early 30’s. She took a shine to me for some reason. I knew she was having trouble with her marriage, and I also knew she had a three year old daughter. She more or less threw herself at me. (It happens.) I cannot say that I was not attracted to her, and frankly she was much younger and prettier than my wife. I tried to rebuff her as gently as possible, but she seemed not to believe that any man could resist her. My wife died a few months ago, and I miss her terribly. One thing I am glad about is that I never cheated on her, and not for lack of opportunities. If a woman like the one in the posted story ever came on to me, at any age, I would immediately smell a rat and run, not walk away, regardless of my martial status.
Oh, that's a fiction from the Femisphere.
If women were more selective, they wouldn't be having so many illegitimate kids by different fathers who were in prison.
Getting it from Pookie, Ray Ray, and their cousins isn't being selective.
