Former President Mary Robinson has condemned what she called “ridiculous”, “nonsense” and “malicious lying” regarding Israeli claims that it is ready to distribute aid into Gaza.

Mrs. Robinson said that Israeli claims that UN agencies are not working quickly enough to distribute aid are “all ridiculous”.

“We saw the most there was incredible collaboration between the Egyptian Red Crescent… and the UN,” she said, after a visit to Egypt and the Rafah crossing alongside former New Zealand president Helen Clark.

Following the visit, Mrs. Robinson said that targeted sanctions should be imposed on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all members of his security cabinet.

Speaking on RTÉ’s News at One, Mrs. Robinson — who is a member of the NGO The Elders — said that there are “piles of vital materials that have been rejected, sent back. Tents, wheelchairs, crutches”. …

... after a visit to Egypt and the Rafah crossing...

A report on Gaza from someone who never stepped foot in Gaza.
Unbelievable...literally.

I don’t understand what’s up between Ireland and Israel.

Why does Ireland seem so anti-Israeli?

Ireland has plenty of problems now with their “migrants” and they worry about what some Jews on another continent are doing?

That’s an easy question to answer: the European Union

The EUSSR’s influence cannot be underestimated. After all, they were instrumental in turning Ireland from having the strongest anti-abortion protections in 1983 to doing a complete 180° in a scant 35 years.

Isn’t Ireland antisemitic?

Muslims are going around burning pubs in Ireland because they are an affront to Islam.

You’d think they would finally get the Irish stirred up, but they’re taking it like the euroweenies they are.

Extremely antisemitic. I’m about 3/4 Irish and went back to see cousins. They constantly blatted on about “the Jews”.

It was a reminder that Ireland was a de facto ally of Nazi Germany.

I never experienced that in the 1970s or 1980s when I lived in the Dublin suburbs, and my father was Jewish. I was raised Christian. Today’s popular antisemitism is stoked by the EUSSR more than any other entity.

I'd believe a leprechaun before I'd believe anything out of the mouth of this harridan. She drips with antisemitism and hate.

Maybe they weren’t honest with you because you had a Jewish-sounding surname. Or look Ashkenazi.

Also, this was Cork, not Dublin. There is a big cultural difference between the north and the country of Ireland.

Remember the IRA and the PLO used to work together. The Irish love terrorists.
