Three-quarters of UN members have already or soon plan to recognize Palestinian statehood, with Australia on Monday becoming the latest to promise it will at the UN General Assembly in September.

The Israel-Hamas war, raging in Gaza since the Palestinian militant group’s attack on 7 October 2023, has revived a global push for Palestinians to be given a state of their own.

The action breaks with a long-held view that Palestinians could only gain statehood as part of a negotiated peace with Israel.

According to an AFP tally, at least 145 of the 193 UN members now recognize or plan to recognize a Palestinian state, including France, Canada, and Britain. …

There are 53 majority Islamic countries in the world and 193 member states in the UN. You do the math. 145 to 150 of the states in the UN recognize Palestine.

There are Palestinians in a lot of Muslim countries, but they aren’t taking in the bulk of the refugees. Do the Arab countries really want to “eliminate the Jews”? Many of them accept and trade with Israel. But the thought among Palestinians and Arab countries alike is that the Palestinians will get their own country, or be allowed to return to their former homes in Israel.

Of course they are for a Palestinian state. It’s not really a ‘2-state solution’. They don’t want an Israeli state.

The UN is a muslim organization.

Only 3/4? I would have thought that 95% do.

Because that is how many of them absolutely hate Israel (and the United States).

Exactly, that’s the other half of the corollary,

death to the big Satan”

The UN is an example of gerrymandering at a global scale.

The UN is pro-islamic terrorism

Non-Muslim countries going along with the creation of a state for Palestine are themselves in self-destruct mode. Israel is one of the first countries to become independent after World War II. Globalization will require the destruction of all independent nations to absorb them into a new empire. With the UN involved, the one World Religion is probably intended to be Islam.

The mechanism is clear. Large scale immigration of Muslims into the nation (1,000,000 Muslims immigrated to southern Syria/Mandatory Palestine from the mid 1800's until 1948). Then attempt to overthrow any other national idea or initiative. We even see this in Britain today.

Three-quarters of UN members support Palestinian statehood by making the existing one in Gaza even bigger. Hamas everywhere!!

Actually, if Israel were smart, they’d say, “fine. Then you are cut off from getting even a penny from Israel”. I think Israel would be better off without Palestinians taking their money for aid and whatever else. Let’s see if Palestinians can survive on their own. Doubtful.
