O.J. Simpson's bible from Robert Kardashian sells for staggering amount at auction

O.J. Simpson’s bible, which was gifted to him by Kim Kardashian's father Robert Kardashian Sr, has been sold for an astounding amount.

Just weeks after the late NFL star's estate turned down the 44-year-old reality star's $15,000 offer to buy it, the family heirloom officially sold at auction for $65,800 — or $80,276 with its buyer's premium, according to its listing on Goldin Auctions' website.

The item received 49 bids total, 14 of which came on Sunday, March 30, the final day to make an offer.

At this time, the identity of the winning bidder remains unknown, according to TMZ.

Earlier this month, the estate's executor, Malcom LaVergne, revealed to the outlet that they had to turn down Kim's offer because it was 'too late to purchase it outside the auction.'

LaVergne explained that Kim's team contacted him in February after learning some of Simpson's personal effects were going up for auction.

This included the Bible, which has a handwritten note inside, penned by Robert to Simpson.

The inscription reads: 'OJ, this book will help. God loves you and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book every day. God has a definite plan for your life. You are His child and He will use you again. I love you and God loves you. - Robert.' LaVergne previously revealed that the bible was given to 'The Juice' while he was in jail after his two-hour chase across Southern California in his white Ford Bronco.

Inside the front cover, there contains an inscription to Simpson from Kardashian that is dated June 18, 1994 - exactly a day after the former NFL star's arrest.

Just being real here...I keep hearing this argument. GF was alive and passing a bad check minutes before his death. He was alive and standing against a wall at police orders. He was alive and handcuffed by police. He was alive while being pushed into a police car. He was alive as he was resisting arrest. He was alive when taken down to the ground by police. He was alive while the body weight of the cop was concentrated on GF's neck by said cops knee. He was DEAD 8 minutes later. Now...at which point did GF die of a drug overdose and when did he ingest the drugs? Am I missing something here???

Ok...so....

He would have ingested the drugs prior to the cops confronting him. They nabbed him inside of the financial institution where he was passing the bad check...which was what he was busted for. So...what are you saying? That he was so quick to grab a bunch of drugs that all three of the responding officers never noticed. He had to do it before he was handcuffed. Where exactly did you say that you saw him consume the drugs (not personally obviously) and can you please post the link to the pictures of the incrimination evidence? Also....you know that there were bystanders all over the place right? There were many witnesses so where is the corroboration evidence? I'm certain that everything that you're saying has to be accurate...so please kindly post it here for us all. Thank you.

Negative. Never happened because 1) That would have been the #1 defense against negligent homocide, and 2) The first thing at the hospital that would have happened is a stomach evacuation would have turned up a drugs/container etc.
