The head of the Garda National Immigration Bureau has said that there is no such thing as “an unvetted migrant” to this country, and that everyone coming to Ireland seeking international protection is fingerprinted and identified.
Detective Chief Superintendent Aidan Minnock also rejected claims, most notably by the far right, that asylum seekers are criminals who pose a threat to public safety.
He said the vast majority are economic migrants seeking a better life and that the few who have criminal records are detained before being removed from the country.
However, he also said that Albanian, Romanian and Chinese organized crime groups involved in drug dealing, car theft, exploitation and people smuggling are operating in Ireland.
There has been a significant increase in the numbers coming to Ireland seeking international protection, up from 13,000 in 2023 to more than 21,000 over the last year. …

And that’s ok? Did he realize what he was reading?
Can’t access the article at the link....
There are idiots, then there are official Spokesidiots.
“The head of the Garda National Immigration Bureau has said that there is no such thing as “an unvetted migrant” to this country, and that everyone coming to Ireland seeking international protection is fingerprinted and identified.”
That’s probably true, but it doesn’t take away from the following:
1. They usually have NO CLUE as to who they are or where they’re really from, as they’re told to drop all identification means before showing up.
2. Given that, they have NO CLUE as to whether these are real ‘refugees’, migrants, or felons on the run.
3. They also don’t know their real age, which is why there are photographs of ‘kids’ in junior high (in Sweden) with receding hair lines. Everyone knows they’re well into adulthood, but no one can prove it, so they take the word of the ‘refugee’.
The one good thing to come of this: Many from the Middle East claim to be from Syria, fleeing Assad (shown to get the most sympathy from the hot German babes who invited them in, in the first place). Well, Assad is gone, so now they’re looking at being sent ‘back’. But for many, they better hurry up and learn Arabic and the Syrian culture, because they’ve never been there.
“learn Arabic”
My mother and all her siblings were fluent in my grandmother’s language.
Ride the metro in Dublin and you won’t see a single Irish person. They committed cultural and ethnic genocide inviting s hole turd worlders.
Still comes up for me.
Why would the police have a “national immigration bureau” at all?
I’m guessing you mean the Luas (light rail). I haven’t been to Ireland since that started operating; I always heard horror stories from its inception.
The other local railroad, the DART, I used to ride frequently, even before it was electrified. I can surmise that it suffers from the same fate.
There’s a sort of disclaimer over it to: allow - processing data etc., that’s in the way....
That’s for cookies; that’s there thanks to EU regulations. AFAIK, you can choose to reject them and still read the article.
Lots of burkas. Lots of melanin. Lots of beards. Ireland is gone. Nothing more than an Islamic caliphate colony now. And just a few decades ago Ireland was trying to restore “Irishnesss” by teaching Irish language and Irish music in the schools. Now... Arabic and Islamic prayers.
Oh how I despise liberals.
Concentrated in the cities, certainly. Was reading that Daniel Greenfield article about how the country went from 400 Mahometans in 1991 to jumping to 19,000 in 2002 and then to 83,000 in 2023; it’s coming to a head though, and even the same old EU toadies being re-elected won’t stop it from doing so.
