A Democrat mayor has sparked outrage online - and among his own constituents - claiming Donald Trump faked the assassination attempt at a rally Saturday that left a bystander dead.
The mayor of Washington's Aberdeen, Douglas Orr, went so far as to claim the former president, who is currently running for a second chance at the White House, may have been inspired by tactics used at pro wrestling matches.
Orr posited that Trump may have cut his ear as part of the stunt, and is asking that independent doctors review his injury.
The apparently spelling-challenged mayor put the outlandish conspiracy theory in a Facebook post riddled with errors where he decried that it's 'sick how polatics [sic] have devolved.'
The Democrat claimed: 'Ears bleed alot [sic]. I hope they check to make sure it wasn’t just a self inflicted scratch. We will never know if it was staged.'
Short of Biden dieing [sic], this is about the only thing that could happen that would artificially gain Trump sympathy votes.
Orr, who works as an artist, went on to explain that he was questioning the assassination attempt because 'he spent his life growing up watching World Wrestling.'
He said: 'Half the world thinks that they’re really wrestlers and, sure, they’re athletic and all that. But they get paid money for cutting themselves on the forehead or the ear or the top of the head. Areas that bleed a lot and with very little damage.'
While admitting that he has no proof of his claims, Orr said his gut is telling him it was staged because Trump is a 'television actor' with a 'long, horrific trail of this man lying and putting on stunts.'
Orr won his election for mayor by just four votes after two hand recounts in 2023.

The “Trump faked it” story is all over the Left-wing media, particularly on line.
This is how psychological defense mechanisms make what would otherwise be an intelligent person into a complete moron. Denial and dismissive-ness and a small dose delusions of persecution as well. Anything that is inconvenient to the goal or to the ideology must be diminished or rejected. It’s akin to when I child plugs their ears and shouts lalalalalala I don’t hear you. I don’t want to hear this.

There is a bridge that Kurt Cobain (who grew up there) used to sit under and smoke dope. The bridge is decrepit and needs replacing as it serves a few thousand people. The city fathers are considering leaving it as a shrine to Cobain. Good for tourism and all that

I told my wife shortly after this happened Saturday that this exact line is where the rabid leftists would go.

It’s not “conspiracy theories” when they do it.
I’m so glad we got out of that state and moved somewhere a bit more sane. There are so many American flags in our neighborhood, Gadsden flags, first responder flags, and even a “Let’s Go Brandon” flag.

Douglas Orr is queer as a three dollar bill. A full blown nut case. See how much unity he wants to have with normal people or anyone on the right. Give it a shot and get back to me with what you find.
You do not fake live ammunition fire. It is all very real, as evidenced by the death and two severe injuries in the immediate vicinity. There were projectile weapon slugs flying through the air at very high velocity in a close spread pattern.
It was absolutely sheer chance that Trump’s head was just slightly to the left of the path of the bullet, clearly demonstration of divine intervention.
If you are going to shoot the grizzly bear, it has to be a kill shot, otherwise, if the bear is only injured, he will be very, very angry. And a righteous anger it shall be.
Really weird theory - that the President did not die in the limo. When he put his hand to his head, he was actually applying a theatrical blood patch........
