What everybody won’t admit that it is one small segment of our population that does this. At their first offense, put them in camps, isolate them from society and things will calm down. Make them grow their own food, and impose an ordered society on them, as they cannot live in normal free society.
crime will become nearly non-existent.
The police control the lights.
If the right lights on International Boulevard turn red traffic will come to a standstill.

Good proposal—for Democratic politicians.
There are Apple Air Tag keychain holders.
It’s hard to drive at high speed and cut the Air Tag off.
“a spotter keeps watch for targets, usually rentals headed to or from the airport, as they pull up at the gas stations”
California could make the rental car company gas refill charge reasonable.
nothing good ever happens within 5 miles of any street named after MLK jr.
these same criminals are practicing 17th century naval warfare on I880 almost daily.
last year there were 150 or so weapon discharges from moving vehicles on 880 around oakland. to my knowledge, at least 10 killed, including a 3 year old and a 18 month old.
98th Ave.
When renting a car at an airport, fill it up with gas near where I'm staying instead of close to the airport. The gallon or two used to get to the airport is not worth the risk of becoming a target at an airport gas station near a crime city.
And the Oakland Airport was my go-to airport for 30 years.

Double-Double....
Just had one and Yes
Worth Every molecule !
My fear is that if a say mugger attacks me and I injure the mugger, it will be me arrested by the police and charged by the DA and also the relatives of the criminal will sue me....
Cops most certainly would do something if the business owners fight back.
I understand - such a shame that we’ve gotten to that point. They must wonder WHY there is a need for them to get up and go to work...
If you are flying out of this shithole, be sure to prebuy fuel on your rental or just pay the higher refill rate. No need to support the local thieves.
What’s needed is a LOT more of this!

All it cost to prevent was a couple gallons of gasoline.
Probably powerless because they are not allowed to do their jobs.
They don’t have any choice about department policy.
Needs more rooftop Koreans...
Still doesn't, at least for me. The ads work, not the video.
did some work there trying to help get kids out the ghetto during the worst of the Crips and Bloods street wars.
It was actually worse back then because the current generation of ghetto dwellers seem to have devolved significantly and are just not as mentally and physically capable as their grandpas
Danger?
It’s like a war zone. People get used to it. It’s the new norm. They go to work realizing there will be lawlessness and maybe gun play or murder. They live with it.
A good example is many years ago I had lunch at a USAF cafeteria and sat beside a young black air force girl. I asked her how she liked it up here. She said she was scared because there were no sirens. The sound of sirens made her feel safe. I could not believe it.
A siren typically means someone needs medical attention right now, there’s a fire or there is some sort of crime. In a red state a siren in not a good thing to hear.
