Most people would be well surprised at the level of professionalism that recovery agencies have. They are million dolar companies with huge overhead expenses with trucks, gas, tires, salaries and insurance.
The idiot image that Repo TV shows portrayed some years ago is just made for TV drama.
So yes, there are repo alliances and other organizations that cater to the recovery industry.

Indeed. I was surprised and found it quite interesting. There is money at stake, and when there is, I’ll wager it isn’t some guy in greasy coveralls putting the hook on the car.
That guy we talked to on our flight certainly didn’t appear to fall into the stereotype of a “Repo Man” to me!
Seemed more like an IT guy or an industrial manager.
