Democratic activists in Ohio have released one of the creepiest political ads in recent memory in a bid to stop Buckeye State residents from passing State Issue 1, a measure that would make it harder to make amendments to the state's constitution.
The ad, which begins airing on Wednesday ahead of the August 8th vote, begins with a couple kissing in the underwear in bed.
The woman asks the man if he has a condom, as he reaches across to his nightstand to grab one from a drawer, the hand of an elderly man destroys the mood and snatches it away. The couple scream in confusion.
'Sorry, you can't use those,' the older man, supposed to be dressed as a conservative congressman clad in a dark suit equipped with a Donald Trumpesque red tie.
'What are you talking about? Who are you?' the woman asks.
'I'm your Republican congressman. Now that we're in charge, we're banning birth control,' he replies.
'This is our decision - not yours. Get out of our bedroom,' the woman says while using the bedsheets to cover herself.
'I won the last election. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just gonna watch and make sure that you don't do anything illegal,' the elderly man continues.

Lame............................
We should pay attention here. As stupid and juvenile as this ad sounds, this is the kind of thing that gets stupid and juvenile people (re: leftists) fired up. There must be a way to use this same principle to sway their ignorance in a positive direction.
I saw it. It revolves around a lie. No surprise there. They having nothing to campaign on except things they make up.
CREEPY ads from the CREEPIEST of all people: Liberal Democrats
Agreed. Liberals love being lied to and believe every word they are told.
Democrats are not Creepy....they are PURE EVIL!
typical liberal hysterics.....that will play well with the weak minded.
How about the Reps run and add showing Biden looking at children with aqualung playing in the background.
There’s a longstanding meme among liberals that Republicans want to ban birth control.
Remember many years ago when Clintonista “journalist” George Stephanopoulos asked GOP presidential candidates about banning birth control.
This is an example of a big lie that gets repeated often enough and then liberals anyway , believe it.
Just have a commercial of them being conscripted to fight in Ukraine and woohoo people would go nuts
This is truly sick. The issue on the ballot is whether to raise the vote requirement in the Legislature for approval of Amendments to the State Constitution. Has nothing at all to do with people using a condom, unless you’re somehow crazy for ..... well, I don’t know what you’d be crazy for to be swayed by this ad.
Anti-2A forces are also opposed to the Article because they still entertain hopes of overturning our Constitutional Carry law by forcing an Amendment past the present low hurdle.
I’m voting YES to raise the bar.
The thing is the left are often ignorant. When the GOP stops a bill for overspending (rare I know) or for federal govt overreach (like this)...they become the bad guys. These fools are the same ones who think that the Supreme Court banned abortions. This is no different and will be played no differently. The left depends on brain dead lemmings to promote this nonsense and sadly it works.
... and also traitors to the United States.
I’m voting YES to raise the bar.
~~~
The bar should be higher to amend the constitution. At the national level you need much higher than a simple majority to do so. That just makes sense. Otherwise it’s equivalent to mob rule.
That’s part of being EVIL!
I can’t disagree with you. The Maryland Constitution is so filled with minutia because it’s so easy to change that it’s almost unreadable.
Courtesy of their puppet masters, the WEF.
The rat party is the worst our species has to offer.
No, no, it makes perfect sense.
If adults can’t have sex with children it will be just like banning condoms.
IT’S TOTALLY THE SAME THING!
