A link to a 60 minutes expose on the CIA integration of the top nazi scientists after ww2
Everyone had their own Operation Paperclip and Gehlen Organization.
Now if only one of the Bush’s had a use for the Iraq military as a stabilizing force.
I heard that President Truman’s greatest regret during his Presidency was allowing the CIA to be formed.

This article is unremarkable garbage!
The CIA has enough dirty baggage that is real, and to trying to make something like this important patriotic act as part of its baggage history is pure communist propaganda...
Thanks for posting this.
The CIA was a loser from the start. The legacy of these people, and the life outcome, will be everything they hoped it wouldn’t.
Who is "everyone"?
Operation Paperclip and the Gehlen Org were in the United States.
Russia also imported Nazi scientists after the war, but they got all the information they could out of them, and then sent them back to Germany.
The Russians hated the Germans, and wouldn't let them stay.
.
Time to make 60 minutes Great Again! Now find out about the coke Hunter has been giving Biden to keep him going!

The U.S. greatly supported Stalin during WW2 to defeat the Nazis. So I don't see that it's a big deal to recruit a few Nazi scientists after the war to defeat the Soviets.
This guy has a ton of videos showing the real history.

Well worth watching.
It goes SO MUCH FURTHER than scientists. See my post.
What isn’t as well known about the Paperclip operation, in addition to the hundreds of top rocket scientists, hordes of propaganda specialists, chemical and biological warfare specialists.
The MkUltra program in particular strikes me as more significant than many might suppose. While specifics are tough to pin down (they burned most or many of the documents) starting around 1950 they embarked on an absolutely huge program of covert testing of LSD in the CIA and universities, the prison system, and the military.
Within about 10 years, the “testing” has been deployed mainstream, particularly in California and eventually nationwide. It was all the rage. To my way of thinking, I’ve concluded that both Communists and Nazis were a clear and present danger to America, and indistinguishable as far as psychology and pure lack of conscience.
The “Hippies” and so-called antiwar movement, was an Op, virtually none of it was organic or grass roots, or more likely co-opted. Powerful mind altering drugs destabilized an entire generation - the largest cohort ever - leaving them vulnerable to hypnotic suggestion, crackpot philosophy and politics. I believe that was the intent.
Scramble their brains. As Harry Reid once replied about a question of some deviant skulduggery or other, “Well it worked, didn’t it”?
Maybe the CIA did fund a few counter-culture icons in an attempt to buy a little influence. Gloria Steinman, the Paris Review, and abstract expressionist art have all been implicated as recipients of CIA money.
But the counter-culture was a big happening, beyond the power of any one organization to create it. Hollywood, New York publishers, academics, civil rights groups, NGOs, and think tanks all pushed it.
It isn’t really a theory, the “counter culture” was an advertising campaign run by the suits, painfully obvious in hindsight.
For a modern example, have you noticed just a few short years ago, practically nobody had heard of transvestites and cross dressers. Now it’s All Day Gay 24/7365. This is not some sort of organic grass roots phenomenon, do you think? It is coordinated and comprehensive and there is huge $$$ in it.
