A 22-year-old content creator and model is getting real about withdrawal symptoms she said she’s experienced since she stopped smoking marijuana two months ago.
Suede Brooks from Las Vegas made a viral TikTok on Sunday in which she claimed to have gone through a pound of weed every three months while smoking every day for nine years.
“Thought I would open up a bit,” she captioned the clip, which has sparked over 2.3 million views. “For the longest time, I never thought I had a problem with it until I realized the amount of money that I was spending … and if you smoke weed, you know how much that is.”

I don’t have to even read the article to call total BS on this.

You really need to relax! It’s legal in most states now because it’s still better than alcohol & alcoholism.
note the comparison from that person instead of comparing it to being sober.
Smoke em if you got em
I am amazed the Democrats are not yet giving away “expensive” marijuana to the “needy”.
Maybe that will be on their agenda for next year.
Marijuana has many negative effects that users of it deny religiously. One of them is that it’s very addictive.
A lot of pot smokers also abuse alcohol, they aren’t mutually exclusive.
I’m not sure what you think is bs, whether it be the money spent or using it as a coping mechanism.
I’ve never smoked it, but 20 years ago two cigs of MJ was about $20 and that’s about $730/year if that’s all you use.
Not everybody uses MJ to psychologically cope with stresses, just like not everybody uses alcohol to cope with stresses. However, some do. She did.
Don’t give them any ideas.
In my youth I drove just once while high on marijuana.
I thought it was a 7.0 earthquake the way the road kept weaving side to side and up and down.
If anyone claims driving while high is safe they are lying.
Recreational Chemistry is for losers - bump for later...
Yeah, I’ve heard people say they can drive better when stoned. But a mind-altering drug like pot can also make you delusional, believe it or not.
Assuming 1/4 gram per joint that is like 20 per day or something
And Vegas was not really weed friendly 7 years ago especially not for 13 year olds.
Sorry. I don’t buy it, not even if it was seedy mexi dirt weed.
Yeah I have heard those claims—they are wrong on so many levels.
When you are high you actually get “sensory overload”—which is really bad when you are driving.
The driver needs to have focus on the task at hand and should not be distracted by stunningly beautiful scenery on the side of the road (to give just one example).
Lol
No it is not
Casual use that is impossible
My last girlfriend became chemically dependent on Diet Coke. So what’s your point? Anything can become addicted if you’re pumping it into your body 24 seven
Why? Medicaid already pays for a lot of painkillers for opioid addicts.
You can’t drive while high. The problem is everything is in exact moment of time. Memory from tbe now to two seconds ago is forgotten.
For example, when approaching a red light you don’t have any recollection of needing to slow down. It’s a struggle for one second to the next. At least it was for my ‘friend’.
He’s never doing that again.
Coke doesn’t alter your consciousness. It’s not a psychoactive drug. And yes it’s addictive especially since I know that from personal experience. You may think you know more than the experts who have studied it, but you’re probably a user with an agenda and fooling yourself. It’s easy to do while under its effects.
Yah, just wait until you’re 55 or so years old and you have CRS. (Can’t Remember S**t) Or, if you want to take some kind of advanced schooling at that point in your life.
Many just grow their own nowadays. They make small hobby gardens with the weed today, growing different strains. They treat them like tiny high-end wine vineyards, prized vegetables etc. If they do it right, it doesn’t take much to get a year long supply, maybe a couple of plants will do it.
And many did this because like all commodities, the government got greedy and the retail distributors just passed off all the government taxes/regulation costs to the consumers. According to the co-owner of a dispensary I talked to, she said many people just said eff that and started to grow their own.
