Getting botox results in difficulty in recognizing emotions for who?
Us, looking at the botoxxed person or them looking at us?
Us...says we mimick facial movements...botoxxed don’t have the emotion in many of their movements...messes up brain messaging
How the botoxed person sees others.
Apparently we understand the emotions of others by mimicking their expressions. If we can’t mimic their expression, we have trouble recognizing what the other person is feeling.
I wonder if blind people have a similar problem because they can’t see the faces of others.
And wtr to masks, I was very upset about how children would not see the expressions on the faces of others. I feel like that would make the world a fearsome place...
Botoxed looking at others. Because we micromimic others facial expressions to interpret. The lousiest psyc I knew was a botoxed one. Hmmmm
Tv host Kelly Ripa says people were telling her she did not look the same when she started using botox.
She herself said when she was smiling no one could see her doing so.
The botox is in many beauty products now and advertised not as botox but anti wrinkle cream.
When the person stops the botox the face will be even more wrinkled then if they had not used it at all.
