One of my wife’s sewing friends had a young Shelty that she took to doggy daycare last week. On the way home the dog started coughing. It got worse by the hour. She called the local university pet hospital but they were closed at night because of a staffing shortage and would not open until 7AM.
The dog died at 6 and she is heartbroken.

Doggie daycare, sigh. How about people only get dogs if they have a yard for them to get out of apartments into the sunshine and fresh air.
