A documentary featuring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and climate activists pushing the Green New Deal flopped in its opening weekend, taking just $9,667.
That works out as an average of $80 per theater for the movie 'To The End,' according to ticket receipt data published by Box Office Mojo.
'Fighting for change politically requires faith,' says Ocasio-Cortez, who goes on to say tackling climate change is 'the moonshot of our generation' in the movie's trailer.
Turning a profit might be a similar challenge for the documentary, which launched into 120 theaters on Friday
'Filmed over four years of hope and crisis, "To The End" captures the emergence of a new generation of leaders and the movement behind the most sweeping climate change legislation in U.S. history,' says it promotional website.
With AOC now in Congress, it follows her and other campaigners — Green activist Varshini Prakash, climate policy writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright, and political strategist Alexandra Rojas — 'as they grapple with new challenges of leadership and power and work together to defend their generation’s right to a future.'
AOC was among the leaders of an effort to pass a raft of environmental legislation, focused on cutting greenhouse gas emissions, which was dubbed the Green New Deal in an echo of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal.
Their effort failed, with the bill voted out of the Senate on largely part lines before it was even debated

She was savvy enough to win that seat in Congress, and likely will be there for decades. As she moves up the seniority scale, she’ll work into lucrative committee leadership spots.
With leadership like that...

Some good news out of The Senate anyway.
Otherwise, what a load of BS.
"You could park a 747~"
Undoubtedly.
As a box of rocks....
Me too LOL!
LOL!!! I see what you did there. Good one!!
I lightly skimmed through the documentary of how she ended up in congress
She’s a puppet…..recruited by the Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress, organizations created to take on establishment Democrats
Watch the beginning of the documentary and you’ll some of the puppet masters.
My hope is that in 2025 Trump will spin off Puerto Rico to Venezuela or Cuba and make AOC the Czarina.
No Worries! The AOC / DemocRAT Accounting Conglomerate will launder all kinds of moolah from around the globe. If AlGore can fundraise at the Buddhist Temple, the sky’s the limit for AOC.
Evangelist Sean Feucht’s documentary, “Superspreader” premiered on Sept 29 in 235 theatres and took in almost $400,000.
The Chosen Season 3 episodes 1&2 ran on 2,091 screens and took in $8.75m.
Let’s hope the US taxpayers didn’t fund this stink bomb. Perhaps AOC could make a porno flick with better success.
Samdy Cortez in Glacier Blanket Bingo?
Why go to learn the words of fools?
The comments at Daily Mail are hysterical!
HEY!!! HEY!!!
I heard it was EIGHTY ONE dollars. Don’t shortchange her...her IQ is already carrying that water.
Varshini Prakash, Rhiana Gunn-Wright, Alexandra Rojas
So let’s be generous and say that an average of six people per theater attended the movie. We are going to assume they all stayed and watched through the end.
Now, imagine in your mind a picture of what those people would look and sound like.
LOLOLOL!
Now you have to go to sleep with a picture of a blue and purple-haired, nose-ringed, tattooed, and mask-wearing Karen in your head. (You can thank me for adding the mask).
