Thank the Lord Almighty nothing happened.
Next, someone will show up with a ‘Gun Digest’ magazine and they’ll call the swat team out!
“Just after 2:30 p.m. today, Kirkland Police Department (KPD) responded to several reports of a suspicious incident at the DeYoung Pavilion on the campus of EvergreenHealth Medical Center.”
A student studying for a test, but not being drugged-out?
I’m not sure what is meant by a “firearm spring and barrel.” Someone was carrying a barrel and recoil spring from a pistol? The gun had a barrel and a spring like a BB gun? By “spring” did they mean “magazine” (that’s “clips” for those of you in Rio Linda)?
I just remembered
The Kirkland PD took over a failed prototype Costco “Kirkland Furniture Store” and made it into a State of the Art Police Facility complete with a Drive-thru Shooting Range, one of the only ones in the Western United States.
They did not care that the former Indian land was sacred, and a former Tribal burial ground.
A couple gun parts caused a police response and panic? There is definitely something wrong with the common sense of people
OMG! A mouse,
I mean a Really Big Bunny !
Statewide lockdown and call out Herr Garland’s Stasi to round up the usual suspects.
Kirkland Police Department
Costco sells cops too?
I saw someone at cabellas with 9mil ammo! Made shivers run up my spine.
Imagine what would have happened if he were seen reading his NRA magazine!
What could have happened was, a person was cleaning his Glock. Had chest pains (possibly vax related.) Put barrel and recoil spring assembly in his pocket in order to render the gun harmless should his kids pick it up while he was gone. Rushed to the hospital by his wife, girlfriend, or domestic partner. Was stripped down at the hospital and in the process the barrel and spring fell out of his pocket. Everyone of course freaked out.
The person probably carried a firearm, and knew they could not bring it into the hospital. So, they disassembled it so as to not leave a working firearm in their vehicle.
Makes sense to me.
