Case/Incident #22-18836
Just after 2:30 p.m. today, Kirkland Police Department (KPD) responded to several reports of a suspicious incident at the DeYoung Pavilion on the campus of EvergreenHealth Medical Center.
A patient who arrived for an appointment at the DeYoung Pavilion was in possession of a firearm spring and barrel. Upon contact, the person did not have a functioning weapon.
A hospital staff member who saw the firearm spring and barrel reported it to security, who then notified KPD.
The incident set off the building alarm, which prompted evacuation of the DeYoung Pavilion, not the main Medical Center building.
The surrounding streets were closed as police did a security check of the building.
No active threat was found.
KPD received more than 900 calls to 911 in two hours about this incident.
Thank the Lord Almighty nothing happened.
Next, someone will show up with a ‘Gun Digest’ magazine and they’ll call the swat team out!
What about an improperly eaten pop-tart?
Kirkland is in retard county of WA called King County, voting 75+ for Dems. Does not surprise me . You wear a GUNS N Roses t shirt, they’ll call the feds on you .
But they had enough 911 operators to take 900 calls about this incident in 2 hours.
I wonder how they responded to an 8 year old girl with Downs Syndrome dancing on the sidewalk
Like in the shape of a gun?
Rorschach Testing....
“Just after 2:30 p.m. today, Kirkland Police Department (KPD) responded to several reports of a suspicious incident at the DeYoung Pavilion on the campus of EvergreenHealth Medical Center.”
A student studying for a test, but not being drugged-out?
I’m not sure what is meant by a “firearm spring and barrel.” Someone was carrying a barrel and recoil spring from a pistol? The gun had a barrel and a spring like a BB gun? By “spring” did they mean “magazine” (that’s “clips” for those of you in Rio Linda)?
I can’t tell either. The barrel freaked them out maybe, since I’ve never heard of anyone getting springed to death. Sprung?
I just remembered
The Kirkland PD took over a failed prototype Costco “Kirkland Furniture Store” and made it into a State of the Art Police Facility complete with a Drive-thru Shooting Range, one of the only ones in the Western United States.
They did not care that the former Indian land was sacred, and a former Tribal burial ground.
A couple gun parts caused a police response and panic? There is definitely something wrong with the common sense of people
"What about an improperly eaten pop-tart?"
OMG! A mouse,
I mean a Really Big Bunny !
Statewide lockdown and call out Herr Garland’s Stasi to round up the usual suspects.
If you don’t know what a firearm spring and barrel are you should not be casting aspersions on Anyone from Rio Linda.
It sounds like someone was walking around with a disassembled pistol, so the barrel and spring was visible. But that doesn’t make sense or seem likely. I mean, you can picture seome walking down a hallway, waving around a gun barrel and recoil spring, but that’s crazy. The wording reported in the story doesn’t make much sense.
Ham-handed FBI false flag attempt to demonize “ghost guns?”
Interesting. An attempt to scare people into banning the sale of gun parts? Eventually your gun might need a replacement part but “no one needs an evil assault spring!” “No one needs a handgun with a rifled barrel!” The low-information voters would eat it up.
Kirkland Police Department
Costco sells cops too?
