Deep state operative who got a little bit side tracked. When not assisting with her boyfriend’s parts business, I’ll bet she was digging up info for Antifa.

What is an HOA?

It sounds like some kind of evil fascist entity run by a small group of petty power mad tyrants

This one is very benign it seems.

Many times they could have given lots of grief over the state of the front yard. They didn’t and figured it was coming someday.

I’ve been to one meeting and that was years ago. Pretty calm and borderline dull.

In California you are let go if you steal anything. I knew a guy in Minnesota from a job I had who some 35 years ago who was caught in a stolen car in another city. He was a passenger and said his friend was driving. He spent the weekend in jail and was back at work on monday. He was a thief who bragged about his stealing.

Search results: california car thief penalty

Grand Theft Auto (GTA)
If the stolen vehicle is valued at more than $950, the person can be convicted of grand theft auto. Grand theft is a wobbler offense that can be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony. A conviction for a misdemeanor carries a maximum sentence of up to one year in jail. If convicted of a felony, a person faces prison time of 16 months, two years, or three years. In practice, prosecutors charge grand theft auto more often as a felony.
Petty Theft

Stealing a vehicle worth $950 or less constitutes petty theft, which carries a misdemeanor sentence of up to six months in county jail, a fine of $1,000, or both. However, if an offender has a prior theft-related conviction and a prior conviction for a serious or violent offense, registrable sex offense, or embezzlement from a vulnerable adult, the penalty bumps up to a wobbler with the same penalties as grand theft auto

In Belguim the Mercedes-Benz dealership was found to be doing business with eastern european car thieves and was givng them copies of the keys. Once the car was stolen, the owners would end up with a replacement Mercedes-Benz. Very profitable until they caught up with them after figuring out every time a vehicle was serviced it was stolen within a week or ten days....

When the Oregonian printed this article, they left out the judge’s name to protect the liberal judge.

The DMV worker, who was [fired] in September 2020 after working for the agency for more than 10 years, pleaded guilty to bribery and other charges. She was sentenced to one night in jail and three years probation, as well as ... 160 hours of community service.

That's outrageous! She should be doing hard time making license plates or laundering prison uniforms for the next ten years!
