Sometimes there’s very solid reasons why people are depressed and a stupid pill isn’t going to make those things go away.
Deal with the problems and the depression will take care of itself.
Please explain how “dealing” with a chemical imbalance in the brain is possible.
I look forward to your medical opinion.
True depression is a brain chemical imbalance. Has nothing to do with issues.
Pardon me but that’s a pretty uniformed observation.
There is situational depressions such as loss of a job or a loved one and then there is clinical depression which is a medical condition.
For that medication is needed.
My wife uses antidepressants.
They don’t make the user happy, they make them unable to feel unhappy, which is definitely NOT the same thing.
And it is hell getting off of them.
I read all the British studies,
Like the American studies where there is no longer testing after cancer surgery but warnings to look for symptoms of brain or bone cancer, all of the recent medical reports are about reformatting practice to meet limited insurance resources.
