‘So does the medication help alleviate depression or not?’
I would say no; I have tried both trazadone and lorazepam as sleep aids, the first an SSRI and the second a benzodiazepine...a 50 mg pill of trazadone made me feel like I was about to faint, and I did better splitting it, in that I didn’t feel light headed; but I do not remember it ever helping me to sleep, and I don’t take it anymore...
lorazepam, however, does work in what it is designed to do, relieve anxiety, but it takes at least 3 mgs to do so, and that is too much for regular use...I take a half mg most nights, and of course that is too little to provide sedative effect, or for that matter, any noticeable effect...
I’ve heard from some they can feel numbing. You can’t really feel strongly about anything. Numb isn’t happy
Anti depressants are very difficult to come off of. People take them for life. Terrible.
Well thank you so much that’s very kind of you. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
