I was no fan of Roy Moore in the Alabama U.S. senate race a few years ago, but I was probably one of the few people on FR who would have voted for him even if every one of the ridiculous allegations against him was TRUE,

The Roy Moore allegations were cold lies. The places she supposedly met up with him didn’t even exist back then. But our side decided to throw in with the liars because Roy Moore wasn’t classy enough.
