So I'm on this debate on Twitter.
Here, fellow FReepers is the God's honest truth.
I am 53 years old. I'm not a recluse. I have family, friends, co-workers, all over the United States. I'm socially active.
I do not know a single person who has died from Covid. I do not know a single person who has been hospitalized with Covid. I have not once received a phone call that someone I know has died from this.
I DO KNOW several people who have gotten Covid, all have recovered. Most said it felt like a weird cold. One friend of mine said it kicked his ass. None of them went to the hospital with it. All have been fine.
I read about hospitals overwhelmed with patients on life support, dying.
Seriously, am I living some strange sheltered existence where this disease doesn't exist?
One can only say that he knows someone who says he has Fauci flu.
No one I know of has had Covid.
I know four people who lost family to COVID early on, unvaxxed. Two were young with no underlying medical conditions.
I was the first in my family to be exposed and was hospitalized twice. Dealing with lung and kidney damage, it depleted my endocrine system too. I have an autosomal endocrine disorder that made battling COVID difficult. I only discovered this disorder because two of my three children have NCCAH.
My husband and eldest son never got sick, my younger boys had flu symptoms for a few days.
It hits everyone differently and it depends on what strand you were exposed to. I’m glad you don’t know anyone who died from it.
Were you vaxxed before or after getting COVID?
my family has gotten it twice. i’ve got it right now and so might my son. second time is so far easier because of the zelenko protocol/different variant perhaps.
we know several people who had serious vax injuries (like clotting and menstrual bleeding they’ve been struggling with for months in some cases. there was a heart attack out of the blue for one our our parishioners. there was also a miscarriage.
That is a very distinct possibility.
Death is certified as Covid....she had serious respiratory issues the day that the ambulance came. No doubt that she had Covid virus. I think it’s like the bulk of folks who die....just a number of contributing factors that add up at the end. You’d rarely ever see her out of doors, so I’d doubt her vitamin D levels were standard.
Hubby and I don’t know anyone who died of Covid. Everyone we know who had it, recovered just fine. Some had fairly bad symptoms, some had no symptoms.
They only die of covid in the hospital and that is due only because of Falcey’s “protocol of treatment’ (remdesever) that murders them. I know 3 personally that were murdered.
Three extended family members of mine died of covid the same week, in March 2020. All were in senior care homes (two in CA and one in NV) and in very very poor condition like advanced Alzheimer’s, one was blind and deaf, one could no longer get out of bed, etc. The timing of their deaths was merciful but their way of dying was unforgivable on a humanity level. They died alone in hospitals with only nurses in hazmats allowed in the rooms. None were fit enough to understand FaceTime or know why their beloved family ditched them as they left this earth. Tragedy that they were not allowed to have family beside them.
I know of at least 20-30 people
8-10 I knew personally

I am unvaxed and currently recovering from covid pneumonia. Spent a week in the hospital. I am 58 and live in the country. Off the top of my head I know of at least 20 neighbors, friends and relatives that got it over the past 2 years.
Myself, a life long friend and my first boss all were hospitalized. I was discharged last week, my friend has been on a ventilator since before Thanksgiving given a 10% chance of making it. My old boss, 80, died on the 22nd.
I know of two coworkers family members, both males in there 40s, that were hospitalized, one died and the other spent 8 weeks on a ventilator and finally pulled through.
I know of two, a HS classmate and a 65 year old friend of a friend that died after getting the 2nd shot, one was a few days after the other never woke the next morning after the shot.
So personally I know of one dead from covid and two from the vax.
It is real and no joke.
I had it for 10 days before it got bad and turned to pneumonia. I deer hunted for the first 7 days and never really felt that bad until I did.
I give credit to God and one doctor at UPMC that treated me for saving my bacon. The doctor put me on a 10 day course of Dexamethasone and one IV treatment of Sarilumab. The first medication is a steroid and the 2nd is intended to treat rheumatoid arthritis and consider an immune modulator but being used in clinical trials to treat severe covid. My understanding of this drug is it tricks or modulates the body’s natural response to the infection which reduces inflammation (in the lungs). I could tell with a few hours that it was doing something.
I will remain unvaxed with confidence that my new found natural immunity is a much better option. But this is serious sh!t and nothing to discount. I recommend everyone get an oximeter and seek medical aid if your 02 level drops to 90%. Without the oximeter telling me things were not good, I would have never gone to the ER and more than likely croaked in my recliner in a state of happy hypoxia.
Covid is a particularly virulent strain of flu. That said, people die from the flu every year, many with pre-existing conditions (the main one being age), where the flu took them over the edge. In 2018, 80,000 died from the flu, and some 18 million had it. I suspect about twice that really died from Covid to date, the rest were sick people whose deaths were ascribed to Covid.
Recent reports show that to ramp up Omicron Variant numbers, folks who were in hospital for totally different reasons and no symptoms of it were diagnosed with Covid.
Don’t trust the medical system. It is a beast not intent on true health. The workers caught up in it are sincere but must play by the rules.
