Irony has been declared many times in this pandemic but now, from Covid-riddled Germany comes the final proof:
you can't kill yourself now unless you've been vaccinated. As European countries battle to limit the spread of the virus, Verein Sterbehilfe – the German Euthanasia Association – has issued a new directive, declaring it will now only help those who have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease. In a statement, the association said:
“Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness. Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms.
'Close encounters in closed rooms' – what a fabulous German euphemism for assisted suicide. The term '2G' meanwhile refers to a system which only allows free movement for leisure activities for the geimpft oder genese— 'vaccinated or recovered.' God forbid that a person without the jab should try to end it all – talk about a vaccine passport to the afterlife

I thought they all by definition want to die. I guess they want to control you first. Then kill you.

I suppose the logic in their minds is, you can’t come in here, we kill you, you don’t kill us. Not that I would believe that myself. But as the refusal of vaccination is basically about preservation of life, who’s going to choose no injection and assisted suicide? Probably very few would.
With typical European commercial smarts, you would expect they might have these euthanasia clinics under the same roof as the state run brothels, maybe make a call at one then the other, or just decide that one was a good reason to avoid the other.
But you can come in and kill us with Covid if you've been vaccinated.
Which means it's perfectly in accord with the Spirit of the Times.
At least they recognize the previously infected/recovered. That’s more than Joke’s administration does.

Whether misguided or not, the point here is they’re trying to protect the people who assist, not the one who wants to die. Article intentionally twists this into something else entirely.
Sheer inanity. Why would anyone wanting to die at the hands of the medical establishment refuse the vax? On principle? Fear of consequences? Stupidity?
