Earth sizzled in July and became the hottest month in 142 years of recordkeeping, U.S. weather officials announced.

As extreme heat waves struck parts of the United States and Europe, the globe averaged 62.07°F (16.73°C) last month, beating out the previous record set in July 2016 and tied again in 2019 and 2020. the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Friday. The margin was just .02°F (.01°C).

The last seven Julys, from 2015 to 2021, have been the hottest seven Julys on record, said NOAA climatologist Ahira Sanchez-Lugo. Last month was 1.67°F (0.93°C) warmer than the 20th century average for the month.

“In this case first place is the worst place to be,” NOAA Administrator Rick Spinrad said in a press release. “This new record adds to the disturbing and disruptive path that climate change has set for the globe.”

“This is climate change,” said Pennsylvania State University climate scientist Michael Mann. “It is an exclamation mark on a summer of unprecedented heat, drought, wildfires and flooding.” …

Lies upon lies upon lies.

So Dr. Spinrad (of Oregon State), explain the low temperatures in the mid-40s that I experienced at the end of this July, then?!? (Highs were in mid-to-high 60s on those days.) Summers were way hotter in the 1980s.

It’s the same headline every summer, even if you haven’t had to use your AC a lot of days. Not to mention, a so-called “average” is meaningless.

It’s too bad that an earlier movie already claimed the title ‘The Never Ending Story’ because the leftist propaganda and lies never end.

At this point in the summer, I have to say it was the mildest summer in thirty-odd years of being around central Germany. I’ve run my little AC unit a total of four days. Based on the weather summary for remainder of August, it’ll continue to be mild. So I’m curious where exactly it was hot.

“The Never-Ending Screed” would be more appropriate for this evil narrative.

We’ve been reducing pollution in the USA for decades. If that’s the cause it should go down. Either the pollution in Asia is the cause or the numbers are doctored. Brazil had record cold July 30.

They had the “heat dome” on the US/Canada west coast in early July, where the daytime temps were over 110°F. But that’s a natural phenomenon.

German weather guys will readily admit that the jet stream for 2021 has been a weird occurrence. Maybe over on the far eastern side (going from Dresden to Moscow)....warmer jet stream has brought up the heat from Africa.

I’ll guarantee you that the pool management folks will say business was way down for the year, and a great part of that had nothing to do with Covid.

It will be the hottest July and August in the modern record in my area, no question about it. Constant +20°F over seasonal norms. I am not attributing causation.

Not much here in North Carolina.

A few days around 94.

It is summer.

What the heck. Bailing hay with long sleeves in 1975 it was 102 outside. God only knows what the barn temps were.

These folks are relentless with their propaganda.

Let me see the cast of NBC pitch 2000 bales in south summer heat.

I remember a July 4 in the 60s, several days with 103 degrees and 104 degree days.

IT’S JULY...IT’S AUGUST. The months of extremes!!!!

Try something else for your nutso studies designed to scare the crap out of us.

What they are doing is stopping the teaching of history.

The kids are under the impression it is all new.

THAT is going to be up to the parents of the kids not learning the TRUTH.

And, from what I see lately, they are FINALLY seeing what many of us have seen for some time.

Patience, is a virtue, indeed.

In bourgeois society…the past dominates the present; in communist society, the present dominates the past.
That’s from the Manifesto. History stopping in Orwell’s book 1984 is not an original nor fictitious concept.
