An incoming college freshman was denied admission to her dream school and lost $200,000 in scholarships because she would not get vaccinated against coronavirus due to a pre-existing medical condition.
Olivia Sandor, 18, said Brigham Young University–Hawaii (BYUH) denied her fall admission due to state and college vaccination requirements, despite the fact that they had already awarded her scholarship money.
Sandor, who suffers from Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS), shared her story on Sean Hannity's Fox News program on Monday night and explained how she'd requested an exemption from the school's vaccination requirement after her team of medical providers advised against her getting the COVID-19 shot.
But the university denied her request for exemption - and told her to re-enroll after getting vaccinated.
Sandor developed GBS after receiving an influenza vaccine in 2019 and was paralyzed from the waist down for over a month as a result.
She said that while attending BYUH was her dream, the risks associated with the coronavirus vaccine do not outweigh the reward.
'I do not want to relapse and have another episode of Guillain-Barre,' she told Hannity. 'It's really, truly not worth it to me.'

Peaceful slavery is ALWAYS the way to go!
One size fits all, everyone is equal
Not hardly.
Or perhaps Dr. Fauci time.
The republic died on January 6.
Legal is now whatever Deep State says it is.
Until we restore the republic.
Tuition, food, room, probably a trip overseas for research. My son is getting the same type of offers from mediocre schools who want to bump up their scores. Anyone with an ACT of 34 or higher, who is also an athlete, can bet on at least a couple of these types of offers.
Perhaps a way to force her to become Mormon?
Perhaps a way to force her to become Mormon?
If it’s her “dream school,” I’d have to assume she’s a Mormon. For a lot of LDS kids, BYU is to them what Notre Dame is to Catholics.
She should steer clear of acid (LSD) in her condition. ;)
This is so out of control...The misfits are truly in charge.
This is like someone with multiple heart and other serious medical issues declining these vaccines. What are they going to do, shut off their water and power? Bar them from purchasing food? Withhold their vehicle registrations?
She's actually had GB and does not take the flu shot.
And this girl, and her Doc's are right she should not take this shot...which is also experimental.
I'd bet the Mormon Church has enough money to throw around...in a lawsuit.

The year before Covid, one of our GK’s apparently blistered all of his SAT’s and had all types of partial and full scholarships across the nation.
His parents decided that most schools were as you described, mediocre schools wanting to jack up their scores.
He and his parents decided on the same college his Dad got his degree from.
Ironically, his sister was turned down at every Cali nursing schools because she had one B and the rest A’s at a top private highschool.
A top RN school back east gave her a good 5 digit scholarship per year to attend. She was just graduated in 4 years versus 5-7 years of Cali Crap. She has a good job and will officially become an RN after she passes the national tests they now have to take.
Sue for millions.
That’s awesome!!!!! Congratulations to her. Mine wants to be a doctor. Unfortunately, he has a lot of strikes against him: Male, white, straight, Christian, redheaded and a damn fine shot. Being a football player has actually worked in his favor though. Shows he has very good time management skills. Also, if a team can get an excellent short snapper without having to offer up a scholarship... he might even get some playing time as a preferred walk-on.
BYU-hawaii is a private religious univesity that can choose who they associate with for any reason.
The NCLEX-RN has been around for a very long time.
It a tough test too.
She will do well though.
You don’t even need to be an athlete to get full tuition scholarships with a good GPA and a 30 ACT score at a decent but not Ivy level college.
